One of few authentic Japanese owned and operated restaurants in Auckland. If you’re expecting large portions that’s not really what the Japanese dining experience is about. You should go get a steak at the Lone Star instead. The restaurant is small but intimate with a great menu. A perfect place to dine with a group of foodies.

The sashimi-don (if you like raw fish), and aburi-salmon (seared salmon) are delicious! I also recommend the chicken cutlet and tempura. Yummy!

Excellent food, friendly staff and quick service. One of the best Japanese restaurants I've been to in Auckland. Highly recommended! Only caveat is that it's quite a small venue, so if it can get a little loud. Not an issue for us though!
